Calm. Grounded. Connected
Hi!
I’m Sarah
I have been a practicing massage therapist in the suburbs of Chicago since 2003. Recently I moved to the beautiful mountains of Asheville, North Carolina to be closer to family and friends. In my free time I love to hike and explore the Blue Ridge Parkway!
Would you believe my story started with a foot massage?
The story behind sitting tree spa
I always feel at peace when walking in the shade of trees or on a forest trail. My absolute favorite childhood memory was sitting in my backyard on long summer days reading books and daydreaming under a shady tree.
As I grew up, the beauty of trees have reminded me to remain grounded, slow down and learn to become “unbusy”. Taking time to rest and recharge is so important for emotional and physical health.
My goal for clients is to help them learn skills on how to decompress and reduce mental and physical fatigue from chronic pain through therapeutic massage.

Specialty Services
Therapeutic Massage
Release chronic patterns of tension in your body. Slow strokes “melt” the tissue and deep pressure releases stressed, tight muscles. Benefits include increased joint movement, with better recovery and posture. I recommend pairing it with my custom blend deep relief oil.
Headache + Migraine Treatment
A blend of Shiatsu, trigger point and myofascial techniques are used to deeply massage the head and neck. Cool marble stones and essential oils enhance this therapeutic but deeply relaxing treatment.
Foot Remedy
This service is designed for clients who have chronically painful foot, ankle and lower leg issues. You will find relief if you have plantar fasciitis, tight Achilles tendons and calf muscles that easily spasm. Deep Myofascial release techniques are used as well as dynamic stretching.
So basically it's a foot massage?
No. It's much more complex than that. To explain better, let's start learning about our feet.
